The box contains in a package with nine pieces and borders. The product has a soft, shock-resistant and comfortable surface, which is made of foamed ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). EVA is considered a safe alternative to PVC. The play mat can easily be wiped off. 

Please be aware when buying another foam play mat: When laying on the floor the sun can bleach the foam play mat. Therefore you can experience that the mats do not match in color, when buying a new on to expand the first mat.
