On the front there is extra reinforcement from the knees down to the ankles and both the fabric of the trousers and the membrane are stretchy. This ensures comfort and freedom of movement and removes any worry about stalking through the undergrowth or on steep slopes. Inside the trousers are lined with soft honeycombed polyester. The honeycomb structure allows air and moisture to circulate and disperse and evaporate more quickly. This makes the trousers highly breathable and temperature-regulating. If you get too hot you can ventilate by unzipping behind the knees. The four pockets have waterproof zips and the ankle openings have an elasticated drawstring tucked inside the leg so as to avoid catching on twigs or similar.
